This whole “new year, new habits, new goals” thing didn’t really work out for me. At the beginning of the year I was still in recovery from my surgery and being sick so most days I played the “sick card” and binge watched Netflix. (I watched 12 episodes in one sitting one of the days and no I am not ashamed) So since I was feeling lazy and still getting back into the routine of things, I couldn’t be focusing on my new year goals. But now that January is coming to an end, February is a new month and my “new year”. Even though I could just as easily restart any other day, even tomorrow; I really think that a new month or new week gives so much more motivation to kick off your new schedule with a bang!
They say that it only takes 21 days to form a new habit, so if I can schedule out my whole month and stick to the plan, I’d be happy to say that at the end of the month I have myself a new routine!
