It’s day one of my Restart & Reset Challenge! It’s already day one and I am feeling so much more organized and put together. It’s only 10:30am but I stuck to my morning routine to create a day that flows better and is managed more timely! Here’s a look at my morning routine (for days that I am home in the morning). The times are not always accurate, but it’s a goal to be on time & get things done in a more timely manner.
- 8-8:30am – wake up/drink my Pink Drink
- 8:45am – Bible/Bible study time
- 9:00am – workout
- 9:30am – shower/get ready for the day
- 9:50am – clean room/make bed
- 10:00am – breakfast
- 10:15am -blog/youtube managing time
This schedule may not look very organized of effective, but I can honestly say that this is a big step up from waking up at 11am everyday and then having breakfast by noon and not knowing when or where to start with school, my workout, chores and Bible study. It was a mess. I highly recommend that if you haven’t planned out your mornings/days, that you get right on it because it is such a time saver and a big help to you and your day.
Okay, enough about schedules-for now. Sometimes our work and what we get done can feel insufficient at the end of the day, and that’s a rough feeling sometimes. But at the end of each day, we can rest assured because we have a new day coming and it’s a new time that we have to get stuff done and a new day for new possibilities. Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad it is.” We get a new beginning each day and it is such a blessing and a great opportunity to make the most out of every day and to cherish the moments you have with friends and family.
